Hi, I’m Christian, owner of CDC Driving Instruction.

I have been helping people learn to drive for over 20 years and have worked with hundreds of pupils of all ages and abilities across South Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area.

My approach is patient, professional and tailored to the individual. I understand that everyone learns differently, so lessons are structured around your experience, confidence and learning style.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a nervous learner or preparing for your practical test, my aim is not simply to help you pass your driving test, but to help you become a safe, confident and responsible driver for life.

A Local Instructor With Deep Roots In The Area

Having lived in and around The Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross for most of my life, I have a strong connection to the local community and an excellent knowledge of the roads and driving conditions learners are likely to encounter.

Teaching also runs in the family. My grandmother, Mary Holland, ran the well-known Mary Holland Driving School and was one of only a small number of driving schools operating in the area when she first started.

In fact, she was the person who taught me to drive.

Although she retired many years ago, her commitment to patience, professionalism and high standards has always been an inspiration to me and continues to influence the way I teach today.

With over 20 years of teaching experience myself, I am proud to continue that tradition of helping local people become safe and confident drivers.

Before running CDC Driving Instruction independently, I worked as a Driving Instructor for the AA, gaining valuable experience helping learners from a wide range of backgrounds.

I have also delivered Driver Improvement Courses on behalf of Thames Valley Police, helping drivers improve their awareness, confidence and safety on the road.

Supporting Your Progress

Every learner progresses at their own pace, which is why lessons are tailored to suit your individual needs.

To help reinforce learning between lessons, I provide lesson recap sheets and a driver training record so you can clearly see your progress and understand which areas need further development.

Mock driving tests are also available to help prepare you for the practical test and build confidence before test day.

My extensive knowledge of local roads, junctions and traffic conditions helps me plan lessons that build confidence and prepare pupils for both their driving test and everyday driving.

I am also familiar with the local test centres used by many of my pupils, including Uxbridge, Pinner, High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Slough, helping learners gain experience of the road types and driving situations they are likely to encounter on test day.

Learn In Modern Dual-Control Vehicles

Manual lessons are conducted in a modern Volkswagen T-Roc, while automatic lessons take place in a Volkswagen ID.3.

Both vehicles are fitted with dual controls and provide a safe, comfortable and enjoyable learning environment, helping pupils build confidence from their very first lesson.
